Missing in action again. Kwang kwang kwang. I just can't be bothered to sit in front of the computer for long during weekdays ranting about work, I tell you. I know it's so annoying when I rant about work so let's just move on with life, shall we?
Half my Saturday was spent at home since I woke up at 1300hours due to exhaustion from work whilst the other half was spent at work. Sadly, I was already feeling lethargic mere minutes after starting work. But just as crappiness of the day set in, what with the side effects of having morning sinus coupled with unreasonable diners being so ever demanding and fussy, thank you Oh Great Colleagues for the buckets of laughters and very lame jokes. (:
Ok next! Sunday! :)
My Sunday was spent in the company of the guy who takes charge and manage the Fish & Co. restaurant at Centrepoint. Yes,a breakfast treat at BreadTalk was the order of the day from Oh Great Rayson, My Manager! (: It was just a mere coincidence that I met him at the lift. He told me that I had looked wan of late, such a far cry from my usual radiant and cheerful self. Its because the release of the results is drawing closer, I replied. I have been busy worrying about the result that I forgot to enjoy the company of the colleagues, supervisors and manager. They never fail to make me smile and laugh at their silly and lame jokes,truth be told. We talked almost everything under the sun during the whole 15 minutes at BreadTalk, that for a second, it totally slipped off my mind that he was my manager. After having the two half boiled eggs, a big kaya toast and a cup of hot tea I was already very full. Certainly, I did thanked my manager for the breakfast treat and he also gave me a few words of encouragement! A caring & thoughtful manager, I say. That was one of the best and huge breakfast I had so far for 2007. Hurhurhur! q;
And Praise God that I did not make any major blunders at the bar today albeit forgetting how to make Garden Salad! :/ Adding on, I am still a tad too slow (not as in slow memory but slow pace) lar.
After work, I was somehow forced to go to KFC with Fiza and AQY. Aaaand, the latter is quitting soon! wth. Her ultimate reason for quitting was because she just want to stay home so she can watch her Korean Dramas with no worry in the world!
After KFC, the two ladies went home while I went over to my relative's at Chua Chu Kang to celebrate my brother's belated tenth birthday. My uncle brought back home made brownies which was heavenly although I have to admit it will unleash hell onto my dying throat after having 7 of them! q;
