Sawadikarp. Believe it or not, I was Bangkok, Thailand during the weekends.((: Apparently, my dad's company organised an overseas outing for his department.. How could I not take up the offer even though it was in the middle of the infamous O Levels. Well, it was certainly fun but it wasn't what I anticipated.
Shopping at Chatuchak wasn't the least enjoyable with all the jostling and pushing from the throngs of locals and tourists. Moreover, the weekend market was poorly ventilated.
I regretted not purchasing the 2nd-hand Levi's jeans which only cost a FREAKING S$6. As a matter of fact, I was fumed with anger after walking for more than 2 hours upon realising that I couldn't find a single shop that sells cheap tote bag for guys...
Oh and perhaps I was too generous. I still could think of my friends(when I was already terribly incensed)who requested to purchase tote bags for them. Mind you, it wasn't one or two..there were 4 of them and what irrtitates me the most was that they did not even give me any cash so I apparently used half of my cash in hand for THEM! Tell me how could I not get pissed?! And so, being the always-think-about-others-first-before-self, I bought for them 3 fake Adidas tote bag for only S$8..
Ka-chiing!! There goes my 1000 baht.
...and after a day's shopping, my back started to throb with pain.In the end, I was only able to purchase two tees for S$30 with the remaining half of the money.. Mmmm, it was a good bargain. Oh well, I guess I learnt my lesson.
Never ever tell your friends when you are going on a holiday. Confirm plus chop they will request something from you.
If your friends did not pass you any cash to buy those requested items, then boleh jalan ar(go to hell)!!!Do your own shopping first before purchasing any requested items for your friends.
And, if you're unable to buy those requested items..it's okay. It's YOUR freaking holidays what?! Why do you have to bother about them?!!
When you still have plenty of time left, then you might want to buy souvenoirs for your friends and those requested items.
To say the least, I'm not happy with my holidays 'cause for the 2 days 3 nights trip I kept thinking about THOSE requested items and forgot about myself. I was afraid that they might get disappointed. Well, now who's disappointed and full of regrets?!!
...and my friends are all having a smile on their faces!
So you see, it wasn't what I had anticipate.
Well well well, on the brighter note my parents are planning on another holiday. [[:
