Yay yay tomorrow to SAS Freshmen Orientation!
Written on: Monday, April 02, 2007
Time: 11:09 pm

In a matter of hours, I'll be heading to Republic Poly for School Of Applied Science(SAS) Freshmen Orientation/Camp yahoooooo! It will be a 3 days 2 nights camp. Do you know how blardy excited I am? Haha. I've been counting down to this day you know.

It will be a whole new experience for me. Meeting new people, making new friends. :) But really, since young, I've never considered myself to be the social butterfly. Everytime I was shoved into a situation where I would have to make new friends, I would find myself dreading the situation, adapting to the whole scene very, very (that's two VERYS) slowly. I would sometimes sit at a corner dreaming, waiting for someone to make a move. Or sometimes, I'd try too hard. It's very sad la, really.

When I have to face a group of strangers, I still stutter when asked direct questions by them or giving them a one word answer, and I still very much shudder at the thought of being alone where everyone are already friends.

It's too unnerving for me laa. I need to expand my social circle and stop being the anti-social I am. WAIT! I shall remain optimistic.Yes I can do it..yes..I..can...yes..I...can! :D

So aaanyway, on a side note, Siingapore Youth Festival is just around the corner yet again. I could still remember April 2005. "Fajar Secondary School Drama Club Gold with Honours!" We were high in euphoria. The feeling, was really beyond words. It was a great achievement, as the seniors before us had been clinching Bronze for the last two SYF. That day, was a turning point of Fajar Drama Club, clinching the Gold with Honours Award. On top of that, we were one of the top 4 schools who was chosen to perform again and that adds on icing on the cake. :)

Hopefully, the juniors are able to clinch, Gold with Honours again. ;)

Goodnight kids!
