I woke up today to a quiet home as all the members of my family went out to Arab Street to play a host to the relative from Kuala Lumpur. Wah so sad man. Noone to talk to, nothing to eat. Maggii, it is again, then but the mother did left a few dollars for dinner but I'm lazy lar to go to the food court opposite my block or Bukit Panjang Plaza to tapau. hahahaha.
As for work, I'm coping well. Officially, I am already a working man as of yesterday as told by Linn - the supervisor hahaha! As for the past week, it had been training. Truth to be said, the supervisors were not as intimidating as they were during the interview and the colleagues are all very friendly and talkative. (:
I don't know why I was so tired yesterday even though I work for only a mere 4 hours. After it all, I went home and could still use the computer till the wee hours hahaha.
Even though I am already done with my training, I'll still have to read through and remember the comprehensive list of menu items that appear almost alien to me as Linn reminded me that she'll test me whenever she's free. Huaaargh! There, feels like bloody O Levels all over again! )=
And please bear in mind that the restaurant I'm working at is not Thai Express or Sakura or Swensen but Fish & Co where, as I mentioned earlier, the dishes appear almost alien to me.
Seriously, added on to the comprehensive list of menu items, I also have to remember the description of each of the dishes. Yeah, I'm whining! But no matter, I shall and am going to do my very best in doing my job. (:
