my heart was pounding so fast but i rarely could sit still. my hands were cold and i was nervous.. at 2pm sharp,the principal started her 'speech'. it was rather long... she gave us a list of percentage passes in each subject. i was OVERWHELMED to learn that 100% passed English with i think half obtained a distinction. WE PROVED OUR ENGLISH TEACHER WRONG and thats good enough! all of us went hell upon knowing that all of us passed english. she's gonna be proud of us...(: so she went on and on... it seems to be the longest moment in my life. and then she announce the top GCE 'N' level student and i was right... it was LIM PEI SHI from my class... she's always been the No.1.. however,she only obtained a total of 5 points with 4 distinctions. frankly,our school has such a low standard mann.. none got 3 or 4 points.. and there were 3 who obtained 5 points with 3 distinctions... if i'm not wrong...distinctions are grade A1 and A2 right? so yeap... CONGRATS to them!!(= so then...the principal drone on and on until it feels like god knows how long...until i got my results.. while waiting for my register no. to be called i was frigging nervous.. couldn't sit still and think properly... and fina-freaking-ly it was my turn! i have to sign here and there..... then.......... "I regret telling you this but you are promoted to Sec5." fucking hell mann! the teacher gave me a hell of a shock! well,if you're wondering where's my class councellor is, i shall tell you.. HE'S IN OVERSEAS!! how dare he?!! we're in the midst of collecting our results and there he is in another part of the world enjoying himself with his family... haiz... so when i first glance at my paper i was so ecstatic ok! i didn't expect to get this kind of results...lols ok,so i got a total of 6 points for my best 3 subjects and had 4 distinctions..(:

yes,i couldn't believe it in my own eyes that i scored a grade 2 for english! UNBELIEVABLE! i've never scored tht well for eng! and how in the world did i get a 2 for my accounts when i leave out most of the questions... ITS A MIRACLE!! yes yes i know... my malay sucks... and its the worst grade i got in my slip... i'm so ashamed of myself! everything seems so nice except for my malay... haiz )': i'm also crestfallen in my science.. i wanted A1 badly 'cause i know i could count on my science sigh... if not i could get 5 points with 4 distinctions... bloody hell! whatever it is,i'm happy with my results.. i know that i've done my very best and thats good enough for me. this is already an achievement for me.. well done ahmad!(= so now my next task is to work even harder for my O's and prove to my family that i could make it!!((=
but on the other hand several of my friends couldn't make it to sec5. haiz.. most of them got 11 points... one more point and they could have been able to promote to sec5. 32 pupil out of 40 make it in my class while the other class only 30 make it out of 41.. and those who expected that they couldn't go through sec5 got the promotion while the others who study so hard didn't make it. why is it so unfair for them? haiz...
well well well...my new years resolution is to study even more harder for my O's and take a diploma in biomedical or accounting.
KUDOS to everyone who were promoted and those who well didn't make it...its not the end of the world. study harder and who knows you will be the next top student. anything is possible in this world!
