As I sat beside the water fountain alone, visibly moved by the beauty of VivoCity, I watched the children running around,deliriously happy.I tried to unravel the knot of anger within me. A tiny voice in me cried out for me to let go of my grudge but I could not. It had been weeks of hell and I resolutely held on to the wellspring of will and determination that had kept me persevering and strong all these while. Not to mention, words of motivation and encouragement from a friend.
It had been several weeks of stress and mugging that even the slightest blunders that I made or even when a friend was being tardy for just a mere 5 minutes, I would get so terribly incensed and make the matter into an uproarious commotion. It was shocking for a friend who had always seen me in buoyant spirits.
Anyway,the hell days are just about to begin. So sit tight,seat-belts on and enjoy the roller-coaster ride. No doubt, there will be many rough rides ahead.
Oh and by the way, the first O Level paper of the week was a downright sonofabitch! )=
Math Paper 1 pretty sucked. It wasn't just me.Many share the same thoughts as well. I did plenty of practices on my 20-year-series and I finished the 5-year-series as well. Many agreed that the past year's papers were definately much easier than the paper that we sat for. What a bummer!! Moreover, the Prelims we sat for were also easier. I'm not certain whether I'll able to ace the paper but I'm still clinging on to the hope that Paper 2 won't be such a killer and it's definately not too late to start practicing on it..! I'll remain sanguine,definately! (=
Ohwell, it's no use crying over spilled milk.
However, things got wayyyyy better for us for Social Studies paper. The 2 topics that I concentrated on came up for the Structured-Essay Question and I couldn't ask for more..! Even though Merger & Separation(S'pore) and Northern Ireland were amongst the hot topics, rumours were going around claiming that Good Governance and Sustainable Development were very important. Fear was tugging at my insides then. If the latter comes out for SEQ, I'll be doom but syukur Alhamdulilah, my gut feeling was right!!
I guess I need to put a bit of extra effort for Geography to determine me a good grade for O Level.
Okay, so on Wednesday I'll be having 3 papers. English Paper 1 & 2 and Science(Physics) Paper 2.
