Ramadhan's finally here. InsyaAllah, I plan to make this Holy month of Ramadhan a spiritually meaningful one to becoming a better Muslim. Perhaps, I could really use this one whole month of fasting to put a test on my iman/patience.

So, for those who are already good Muslims, use this oppotunity to even become better Muslim and for those of you who are not as good(just like yours truly), then use this wonderful oppotunity given to try and become a good one. Heh. InsyaAllah.

Amin.

My heartfelt apology to my dear faithful blog readers for the lack of updates. Reason being, I am currently bogged down with my revisions and yours truly is trying his best to reduce the time hogging on the computer. Those time wasted on the computer can be used wisely for revision..

So anyway, I had received all of my Prelim results. As expected, my Prelim results were poor but hopefully (InsyaAllah), this will be my wake up call and a turning point for me. I am apparently pissed at myself for not able to ace most of the paper even though I put my fullest concentration and effort. Well, that just goes to to show that the effort I put in for my studies was not enough.

My grades for Combined Humanities and Science(Phy/Bio) which used to be my forte has downgraded and am pretty mad at myself. Although I had Math tuition and did ample of practices, my grades were not satisfying and good enough to even enter to the Polytechnic, however, I managed to get an even better grade as compared to my Mid Year but still, I failed. *Sigh* As for the ever dreadful Principle of Accounts(POA), I, in fact, failed to ace the paper but the suddenly kind Mr Lim Kee Teck decided to pass the 2 students(which includes myself). (: Yup, I am such a letdown to my POA tutor...and after days of contemplating, I decided to quit not only because of the poor results but also the tutor claimed that she has 'other important commitments to attend to'. My Mother Tongue has always been mediocre or sometimes bad. I remembered I attained a grade 4 for my 'N' Level which was the worst grade I had in my result slip but I always remained sanguine. Amazingly, my grades improved but its still not good enough...am trying for an A2. I attained a B4 for my Mother Tongue(guess that's my highest possible grade that I could ever get for Malay) even though I had plenty of practices.. Surprisingly, my English grades improved from a C5 to a B3. I am just so ecstatic that I was top in class & my effort(only for this subject though) paid off!! =D

Enough for all the whinings.. It is apparently saddening to see that results were bad even though efforts were put in. I'm sanguine that I'm able to beat those brainy students with hard work and effort.

To succeed we have to sacrifice...

To lighten things up in this distressing entry, I would like to post a few pictures taken during a Prefects' Day Camp on the September break & Graduation Assembly held on 23 September. It's only a few pictures lah and nothing to anticipate...

Pardon that ugly dude behind. He was savouring the delectable desserts which I presume was the only food "safe for consumption" other than the crispy chicken wings.. Hah!
